Les Marmitons en Herbe :
a family business
a family business
Since 2010, the Desjardins-Jomphe family has been preparing delicious, nutritious meals.
Charles Desjardins and his wife, Chantal Jomphe, opened Les Marmitons en Herbe in 2010. Charles had developed an affinity for fine cuisine during his childhood. So it was only natural that he would go on to earn a degree as a professional cook and pastry chef from the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec. He shared his professional skill and knowledge not only with the team at Les Marmitons but also with his sons, who have since joined the team in order to prepare delicious meals to make your day-to-day life easier.
Chantal Jomphe, a worthy ally
Chantal holds a secretarial and accounting diploma, and her experience in advertising makes her a key member of Les Marmitons en Herbe. She has contributed meal ideas, as well as helped organize this healthy business, which now counts five loyal employees who also play a huge role in creating quality meals. Since Charles passed away in 2019, his wife, Chantal, and his sons, Raphaël and Nicholas, have carried on his mission at Les Marmitons en Herbe, offering fresh, nutritious, high-quality meals, prepared daily on-site.
A story filled with freshness and flavour
At the very beginning, Les Marmitons en Herbe was a devoted, passionate couple whose mission was to provide delicious meals to a lucky clientele. A lively team of five employees now comes together to contribute to the delicious dishes created by Les Marmitons.
The menus are well balanced and contain little sodium, and no coloring or preservatives.
The prices are very affordable and the serving sizes varied, to suit everyone’s needs.
If you watch what you eat, Les Marmitons’ meals are a healthy choice, and much less expensive than eating at a restaurant.
